Alan has recently joined the family of artists represented by Seaview Gallery. In a very short time he has gained a following and his work is now sought after by discerning visitors to the gallery.

Alan lives and works as an artist in the town of Castlemaine, Victoria. He was educated at the Bendigo Institute of Technology (Diploma in Visual Arts, majoring in painting), the Melbourne School of Art, Design & Photography (Certificate in Photography) and Oakleigh Horticultural College (Trade Certificate in Nursery & Gardening).

Alan's paintings reflect his interest in the natural environment and are inspired by his surroundings in Victoria's goldfields region. His work is held in private collections in Australia, the USA and Europe.

Alan also enjoys photography. His photographs have been published in The Age (Melbourne), and The Daily Mirror and The Standard (London). Alan has twice been a finalist in the Julie Millowick Acquisitive Photography Award (Castlemaine State Festival).
