Laurisen, Peta

Peta Laurisen was born in Bendigo and now resides in Bryon Bay. She has been painting full time for the last 30 years. She works on canvas using acrylic paint and builds up layers of colour to create a translucent effect.

Peta is inspired by nature and her striking images of flowers are highly detailed and intricate works of art. Her Geisha series of paintings are sensual, intimate and subtly erotic.
