Lewitzka, Terry

Terry paints in the manner of the traditional impressionistic school, his work having a freshness which imparts much of the vigor and energy associated with impressionists. His liking for rural and outback landscapes and coastal seascapes demonstrate a close affinity with creation. Oil and water-colours feature widely in this painter’s work and within a well defined style of an obviously dedicated artisan, the works of Terry Lewitzka will hold a great appeal.

He has won many art prizes over the years and has had many one man exhibitions as well as exhibiting in group exhibitions. Works by Terry have been published on Calendars and in books and magazines. He was admitted as a fellow of the Royal Australian Society of Arts in 1982. As an associate of the Advertising Institute of Australia he operated his own business, as a commercial artist, from 1984 until 1994, from 2001 Terry has continued to be an Honorary Member of the Rotary Club of Victor Harbor.
