A whimsical artist
Colin started his working career as a Commercial Artist in the advertising and display world before returning to university to study Ceramics, an extended and successful period followed, but finally that medium progressed to painting.
His illustrative style of painting reflects his passion for detail and his quirky lighthearted sense of humour which has evolved to become an integral part of every painting that he creates. His viewers take great delight in the witty captions he creates for each of his paintings.
He uses vibrant colors and whimsical characterizations to create his own images that are fundamentally based on life's experiences for the expression of a story. Each painting tells a story, many of which we all would relate to - great to laugh at ourselves.
