David's success reflects his dedication to capturing the mood of the subjects which he loves so much. David is concerned with the sensitivity of his subject, and adeptly capturing its emotional impact. I always seek to take the essence of my subject, whether in relation to light, movement, or drama which is brought about by the changes in weather, the time of day and the inspiration I receive from my surroundings.
David sees artists as recorders of instants in the ongoing history of existence, as is evidence by the international flavour of his pictures and his diverse subject matter.
David Taylor's works are in many public and private collections in Italy, Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland, China, Japan the UK, USA and Australia.
