Robert Holcombe’s  latest works February  2012

Seaview Gallery has a long-standing history with award winning artist Robert Holcombe and will be featuring his work from 11 – 26 February. Robert’s latest works include local imagery such as the You Yangs and the Great Ocean Road.

Robert, a self-taught artist, has been painting for over three decades and in that time has gained national and international recognition. He is a winner of the Winsor & Newton Worldwide Millennium Painting Competition, which attracted over 22,000 entries from 51 countries.

Robert’s abstracted landscapes are a statement of the beauty and harshness of this untamed land. He manipulates the work surface by means of rubbing and scraping. He challenges the viewer to question and re-think the way they see the landscape.
