Sara Paxton grew up and studied art in England before moving to Australia in her early twenties.
She continued to paint and to develop her unique free flowing style by working with a variety of mediums including charcoal, ink, watercolour and oils.
Sara is based in Sydney but currently resides on the Bellarine peninsula in Victoria.
Both the Bellarine and Mornington peninsulas provide inspiration for many of her works. Sara creates powerful visual images through the use of vibrant colours and an expansive style. She combines a confident use of colour and composition with strong, gestural brushwork to produce vigorous and energetic landscapes and still life paintings
Sara's vibrant paintings have rapidly become popular and she has developed a strong following. Her paintings are to be found in many private collections nationally and internationally.
